VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The RDRC wishes to recruit candidates for the posts below:

 

I. CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

 

Level: National Expert

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

·         Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Peace Studies, with five years of working experience, at least two of which should be at managerial level.

·         Proven analytical and comprehensive report writing skills, computer literate, good leadership skills and team-work and proven experience in management of projects. 

·         Fluency in English or French. Working knowledge of the other would be an added advantage.

 

II. MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER

 

Level: National expert

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • A Rwandan National,
  • Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Demography, Development Planning, or Statistics.
  • Proven Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • At least three years of progressively responsible professional work experience in programme monitoring and evaluation. Practical experience in statistics methods and data management.
  • A first degree with five years of relevant experience would also be considered.

III. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

 

Level: National expert

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Rwandan national
  • University degree in information or related sciences.
  • Specialization in information system analysis, computer programming, database and Computer Networks.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in database computer systems and technologies development, some of which in information systems analysis and computer programming.
  • Fluency in oral and written English or French is required; Knowledge of both is an advantage.

36th Phase of demobilisation of members of Ex-Armed Groups

Preparations of phase 36 of the members of ex-armed groups started upon the official discharge of 212 members of the ex-armed Groups Phase 35 demobilized on 19th March 2010.

 

Combatant screening and signing of oath renouncing combat activities by ex-combatants is done immediately upon arrival at the demobilization centre from the repatriation centres of  Nyagatare TC in Rusizi and Rubavu Repatriation offices.

 

Of 202 members of ex-Armed groups demobilised on 29/6/2010, the highest ranks are  1 Colonel,  2  Captains and  5 Lt.
